This study was carried out in the group of children and adolescents with TB spondylitis constituted from 163 persons operated at the clinics of the National Center for TB Problems in the ages from 1 to 17 years. At the thoracic vertebrae injury cosmetically rough triangular kyphoses of the degree II (more than 30 by Cobb) were seen in 20,0% of cases, while deformations of the degree III (more than 50? by Cobb) were observed in 13,3% of cases. It was revealed the spine deformation increase in the follow-up period after operations in 15 (9,2±6,6%) out of 163 children observed in connection with closeness of vertebrae bodies and resorption of the bone transplants.

The The 41patients with the neurologic displays of an osteochondrosis of a spine column lumbar department (compression-ischemic syndrome), including 26 inhabitants from the northern territories (Komi Republic) and 15 patients of the control group (the Pskov area) are surveyed. Research does not reveal essential distinctions in clinical current of the neurologic displays of the defeat of a spine column lumbar department at inhabitants of northern territories and an average strip. The quantitative mark estimation of a painful syndrome and a condition of the patients does not testify about the negative influence of the extreme climatic conditions on current radiculopathy. Comparison of results of testing before and after a rate of therapy speaks about efficiency of spent treatment

We analysed the results of the inspection of 40 patients with hereditary moto-sensory polineuropathy which treated in neurologic branch (all patients with a researched pathology since 1997 to 2006 in the region). Women prevail among these patients. Disease began at young age (23,97±2,02 years) mainly. It began from the defeat of the lower limbs in ? cases. The attributes of the axonal defeat of nerves meet more often than the demyelinating ones according the results of ENMG. Revealed sex distinctions on parameters ENMG (the decrease of the speed of the realization at men and the amplitudes of the M - answers at women) correspond(meet) to prevalence of appropriate types HMSP. Defeat of the lower limbs prevailed at any type of polineuropathy

The all cases of myasthenia in Komi Republic for 10 years were explored. The people at age before 30 years dominate among the patients. Generalized forms meet more often. Pathological changes an thymus are not discovered in the half of the cases. Generalized forms give more significant changes on ENMG. Testing showed the reduction of a life quality of the patients with myasthenia. The index of depression of the patients was not increased

On the basis of the data in vitro on fluid resistance of a stenosis equations for definition of flow, velocities and the critical degree of a stenosis are offered. The article presents the analysis of examination and treatment of 177 elderly patients with low-limb arteries disorders. The analysis was performed according to the specifically developed investigation scheme. Obliterating atherosclerosis constitutes 82.5% of the overall low-limb arteries diseases. 49.3% of the patients revealed dyslipoproteidemia. 70.6% of the patients received conservative treatment/ 29.4% underwent surgery. We managed to maintain low-limb circulation in 92.7% of the patients. The scope and the stages of the conservative and surgical treatment are presented

With the aim to improve quality of life in patients with end stage kidney insufficiency we studied the results of arteriovenous fistula and possible factors of their failure. Our study includes 74 patients were vascular access for hemodialysis was necessary. The period of the study is May 2005-September 2008.As it will come in the results a better selection of the patients who will need hemodialises will result in better avf creation results which will improve patient’s quality of life

Introduction: In each case with important peripheral vascular injury one
of the crucial problems to be solved is the installation of the compartment syndrome.
Material and methods: From August 1999 till March 2005 we treated 77 patients
with important arterial injuries of the limbs. The range in age was from 13 to 65
years old. In 62 patients the injury was in lower limbs, in 15 the injury was in
upper ones. The injuries were causalities of shotguns in 55 cases, knives and other
sharp objects in 17 cases, road incidents in 4 cases and iatrogenic 2 cases.
We performed fasciotomy in 29 cases. All of them in the legs. In the cases we
performed fasciotomy complexity of trauma was 93%. The rest of cases had a complexity
of 15 % . Mean time of addmition in our department from the moment of trauma was
16.5 hours in fasciotomy group and 6. 5 hours in non fasciotomy group.
In the cases with fasciotomy revascularization procedures have been performed
in 85% of patients. Whereas in the cases without fasciotomy revascularization procedures
were performed in 100 % of cases.
Results: In the cases treated with fasciotomy 26 patients did well versus
32 in non fasciotomy group. Amputation in different levels were performed in three
cases in fasciotomy group and one in the other group. Neuropathy was installed in
2 patients with fasciotomy versus 1 patient without fasciotomy. Muscular necrosis
suffered 3 patients with fasciotomy. Mean duration of stay in hospital was 19 days
in the group with fasciotomy and 10 days in the group without.
Conclusions: Fasciotomy should be performed as soon as possible in all
cases where a compartment syndrome is installed.

On the preliminary data, the cerebral stroke meet equally frequently at men and at women. It is established, that among men persons of able-bodied age prevail. The cerebral stroke in Komi Republic are registered in the senior age groups (after 60 years) more often. The all cases of the hospitalization of the patients with cerebrovascular diseases in republican neurologic branch from 1998 to 2008 were analyzed.
